Teaching Experience
Angela is a versatile dance teacher and she taught contemporary dance, ballet, ballet for contemporary dancers, musical theatre, yoga, improvisation and creative set.
Credits include teaching for WEIS- West End in School in London and all around the UK, The Place adult classes, London Contemporary Dance School (CAT & CYD programme), Natalia Kremen Ballet School, Camden Youth Dance Platform, Auditorium Ballet School in Verona and other smaller realities in Italy.
As a facilitator and assistant teacher, she taught alongside Balletboyz, Anna Watkins and Candoco Dance Company in London.
She took part in the Teachers’ Seminars held by Teatro La Scala Ballet School in Milan and she got the Intermediate Cecchetti Ballet level by Hamlyn Ballet School in Florence.
She also got a hatha yoga teacher diploma, postural gymnastic diploma, swedish massage technique diploma, and sound healer diploma. She is also Counsellor and Coach, attending IMR- Italian Medical Research.
In her teaching dance practice, Angela pays attention to the student’s technique, creativity, individual artistry and mental health wellbeing & safeguarding, supporting the person emotionally and helping to develop self-esteem and a positive mindset so as to reach one’s own potential.
Choreography Experience
Angela loves to create digital contents and as a choreographer and creative, she has presented her personal creations for festivals, theatres and events in London and Italy.
She has created pieces for vocational schools as well like The Place – London Contemporary Dance School, Natalia Kremen Ballet School, Auditorium Ballet in Verona; and as assistant choreographer for Balletboyz, Anna Watkins and Candoco Dance Company during their creations for The Place Intensives in London.
Education
After studying in independent italian dance schools such as Hamlyn Ballet School in Florence, Centro Teatrale di Ricerca in Venice and Auditorium Ballet in Verona, she went to study dance abroad, especially in Amsterdam, in New York and in Tel Aviv. Alongside that, she got a Bachelor Degree in Art & Entertainment Management at University of Venice in 2013.
She moved from Italy to complete her Master of Arts at London Contemporary Dance School in 2017 where she was awarded with a full scholarship by The Linbury Trust and The Leverhulme Trust.
