Choreography of Marcos Morau & La Veronal, Picasso-Los Pájaros Muertos; Marcos Morau decides to focus his attention on all that “depraved” and regressive folkloristic tradition from which the great master from Malagueño fled. With a series of discomposed and co-present tableaux, to recall the cubist techniques, “Picasso – Los Pàjaros Muertos” stages the dark, heavily traditionalist Spain of processions, with the Virgin in triumph and an ostentatious nationalism, to the sound of a redundantly patriotic music.
